Senior Lettings Negotiator

Salary: £26k - £30k DOE + OTE + company benefits

Location: Hove

Hours: Mon - Fri 8.45 - 17.30 and alternate Saturdays 9.30-17.00 with half day in lieu off in the week.

MUST have a UK driving licence and ideally own transport - parking permit given

You will already have a proven background within lettings and conducting market appraisals and being able to cultivate strong business relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with incoming queries from new applicants via email and phone.
  • Registering applicants and discussing appropriate properties that they might be interested in.
  • Booking in viewings and organising the diary for the rest of the team.
  • Generating new business opportunities and implementing new strategies to support successful marketing activities.
  • Assist in training new members of the team.
  • Liasing and negotiating new lets with new tenants and landlords.
  • Update and create good relationships with landlords.
  • Utilising software and IT platforms to generate maximum interest on your new properties to let.
  • Negotiating terms with landlords and attending market appraisals.
  • Updating the inhouse property CRM system accurately.
  • Proactively drive the growth of the department and contribute to improvement ideas.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Proven background within lettings and thrive in a proactive working environment.
  • Results driven, proactive and hard working.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability generate new business opportunities.
  • Confident, personable and customer focused.
  • Good IT skills and have a genuine passion for the industry.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
