A small and well established manufacturing business in Hove are looking for an Accounts and Invoicing Clerk to join them. This role will be working as an Accounts Assistant to the Accounting Manager, with main areas being invoicing, sales ledger including credit control and also managing export and shipping documentation for customer orders.
Job duties:
- Assist the Financial Controller with all aspects of day-to-day accounting
- Sales ledger invoicing
- Export sales documentation and general administration / reconciliations
- Monthly VAT schedules and quarterly VAT returns
- Receive sales enquiries over the phone and via email
- Liaise between production department and shipping agents
- Produce statistical reports as needed
Skills & experience required:
- Sales Ledger experience
- Experience with Export/Shipping documentation
- Experience with Sage and Microsoft Excel
