We are actively seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team. In this role you will provide support for primary school pupils, with a focus on those who may present with challenging behaviour and complex needs.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Delivering targeted interventions to individuals or small groups to support their learning and emotional needs.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers to plan and coordinate support activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of pupils, adapting strategies as needed to facilitate optimal learning outcomes.
  • Contributing to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP).
  • Participating in training and development sessions to enhance personal skills and support school initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (O’ Levels accepted) and a good standard of education across a range of subjects.
  • Working knowledge of the national curriculum and other relevant learning programs.
  • Full understanding of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding provision for young people and a commitment to child-centred learning.
