Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Nottingham, NG14
Salary: £39,300 + shift allowance + OTÂ
Working Hours: Monday to Friday -Â Rotating shifts, Days, Afternoons & Nights 40 hours per week. 6-2, 2-10, 10-6.
Purpose of the Role:
Join our client’s Maintenance team as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, handling daily mechanical and electrical engineering tasks within the plant.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Electrical Maintenance Engineer should attend and resolve machine breakdowns, diagnosing electrical or mechanical failures.
- Lead on all Planned Maintenance activities.
- Provide engineering cover to meet business demands.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with all departments to facilitate quick reactive solutions and ensure smooth plant operations.
- As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you should collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime and support tasks that enhance plant performance.
- Fault find and test semi to fully automated equipment.
- Actively participate in maintaining and improving site housekeeping standards.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements:
- The Electrical Maintenance Engineer should be experienced in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Siemens systems is desirable.
- 17th Edition Qualification or above.
- Recognised electrical qualification - Apprentice trained, Level 3 BTEC or above.
- 2391-52 Inspection & Testing qualification is ideal.
- Strong communication skills.
