Electrically Bias Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer  - Salary £42,600 per annum - Days 4 on 4 off 06:00 - 18:00

My client is looking to hire an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer working in a food production business. 

They are a leading name in their sector and have a fantastic reputation as a great place to work. The business looks after its staff and is proud of its products. 

Duties to include but not limited to;

• Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment;

• Responding to emergency breakdowns throughout the plant 

• Getting involved in project work and continuous improvement drives. 

• Ensure servicing and maintenance cause as little disruption to production as possible.

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and correctly with appropriate records being available for updating. 

• Play an active role in any continuous improvement teams ensuring that technological advancement is embraced.

The Ideal Person -

Must be time served / NVQ level 3 or HNC - must be proactive and have a systematic approach to problem solving. Good communication skills. Experience in a FMCG / Food environment would be ideal.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 2 years Maintenance experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment. 

• Ideally HNC or Time served / NVQ level 3 

• Ideally 17th / 18th Edition 

• Experience with typical food / FMCG machinery
