We are looking for a Sous Chef to join a highly regarded banqueting and events venue in Churchdown. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants work-life balance with seasonal flexibility.
What’s on Offer?
- £30K-£35K + tronc
- Flexible hours – busy wedding season but relaxed winters with 4-day weeks finishing at midday
- Early starts, early finishes – structured shifts for better work-life balance
- Summer schedule:
- Midweek: 7 AM - 2 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM - 10 PM
- Sunday & Monday off
What You’ll Need:
- Experience in banqueting & large-scale events
- Ability to drive – you’ll be responsible for the kitchen van
- Strong organisational skills to handle busy wedding seasons
- A positive attitude & team spirit
- One-day trial – informal meet & cook-off
- Personality is key – we want a great team player!
