Semi Senior Accountant

Bennett and Game are delighted to be partnering a well-established accountancy practice in Nottingham who are seeking a semi-senior accountant to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious accountant who can be part AAT qualified, AAT qualified, or part ACCA qualified, looking to grow their career and experience, and progress in a reputable firm

• Accounts Preparation - Preparing year-end accounts, statutory accounts, and management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients consisting of sole traders, and limited companies
• VAT returns - Preparing VAT returns and CIS returns for a portfolio of clients
• General Bookkeeping duties - Reconciliations, purchase & sales ledgers, managing invoices, and more
• Adhoc work when it arrives

• AAT part qualified, AAT qualified, or ACCA part-qualified. (salary will depend on level of qualification)
• 1-2 years minimum experience working in accountancy practice
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ambition and desire to learn and grow in an accountancy setting
• Ability to work well in a team
• No requirement for visa sponsorship

• Salary dependant on experience, but will range from 26k-35k
• 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (holiday allowance increases with every year of service)
• Flexible hours (start and finish times can vary)
• Study support provided
• Staff events/outings
• Early finish on Fridays
