Role Responsibilities- Assisting Audit Managers in handling a varied portfolio of SME clients
- Taking responsibility for on-site audit fieldwork, ensuring compliance with audit standards
- Preparing accounts for Limited Companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Preparing corporation tax computations for company clients
- Handling basic Self-Assessment Tax returns
- Being a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring excellent service
- Assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts preparation
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, helping them develop their skills

Candidate Requirements- AAT qualified or Qualified By Experience (QBE)
- Practice experience is essential, with a strong understanding of audit and assurance work
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in an audit and accounts team within practice
- Familiarity with Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks (QBO)
- Knowledge of CCH suite (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
