Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients, including Limited Companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Preparing corporation tax computations for Limited Companies
  • Preparing basic Self-Assessment Tax returns
  • Leading on-site audit work, ensuring compliance with technical standards
  • Serving as the primary contact for clients, developing strong working relationships
  • Preparing bookkeeping and management accounts on a periodic basis
  • Training and mentoring trainee staff, supporting their professional development

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 3+ years’ experience working in an audit and assurance team within practice
  • Be AAT qualified or Qualified By Experience (QBE)
  • Have experience managing audits and meeting regular filing deadlines
  • Be proficient in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks (QBO)
  • Have experience with the CCH suite (preferred but not essential)
  • Have strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Work well within a team, with a proactive and professional approach
