Chief Accountant - Global Investment Group

Most accounting jobs are about keeping score. This one is about accounting for complex transactions and making sure everything stacks up in an investment group that's on a mission.

This Group is an international investor with a diverse portfolio-industrial, real estate, and natural resources. They have top-tier external advisors in place, but they need an in-house finance expert who knows their way around complex financial structures and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Owning the numbers-managing complex transactions, financial reporting, essentially accounting for the Group.
  • Coordinating with external advisors to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Keeping financial controls tight while the business continues to evolve.
  • Overseeing a bookkeeper (to be appointed).

What You'll Need:

  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting skills-practice background and/or Group experience preferred.
  • Experience with complex transactions-this isn't just about ledgers and reconciliations.
  • The ability to work closely with lawyers, tax advisors, and investment specialists.
