Assistant Accountant - Hybrid study support

RG Consultancy are pleased to be supporting an excellent medium turnover business who are based in Huddersfield and looking for an ambitious assistant accountant to join the finance department and reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be joining a team of 4 within the department and the company are happy to offer a study package for the right candidate.

Duties include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Processing invoices onto the system
• Matching and coding invoices
• Weekly BACS payment runs
• Accruals and prepayments
• Petty cash reconciliations
• Process weekly debtor reports
• Assisting with VAT returns
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
• Support with other month end duties

Skills:

• SAGE 200 experience would be an advantage
• MS Excel skills (Pivot tables / V-lookups)
