Description
As Assistant Management Accountant reporting into the qualified Financial Controller, you will be successfully responsible for supporting the management accounts such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, journal postings and accruals etc.
In this varied finance role, you will be also contributing and have exposure to the variance analysis, cost reports and any other essential finance analysis as part of the stakeholder management with the wider financial and non financial business such as Managing Director and Head of Commercial for example.
Profile
- Ideally AAT Level 4 or ACCA / CIMA part qualified (or exemptions from degree) or anyone Qualified by Experience.
- Experience of management accounts drafting and preparing with either of the key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals or variance analysis.
- Confident with Microsoft excel such as vlookup and pivot tables.
- Any cash flow forecasting or sales margin knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Key eye for detail.
- Can work individually and as part of a wider finance team.
