Description
As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Managing supplier relationships to ensure product quality.
- Conducting audits and assessments of suppliers and their quality systems.
- Overseeing product development processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality issues.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
- Analysing performance data for trends and improvements.
- Reporting on supplier performance and quality to management.
- Facilitating the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within the organisation.
Profile
A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:
- Worked in a similar Supplier Quality position within manufacturing.
- An working understanding of PPAP.
- AIAG exposure.
- Strong APQP skills.
- Proficiency in quality systems and certifications.
- Strong communication skills.
- The flexibility to travel across the UK and Europe.
