Bennett & Game have the pleasure of representing a well-established RIBA Chartered Practice based in Huddersfield who are looking to take on a Senior Architect to join their team of talented individuals.

This consultancy delivers a variety of projects of values up to £30M, from small to large scale refurbishments, retrofits, redesigns and conversions within the residential / high-rise residential sector. Their continued growth and increased workload mean they are looking for a Senior Architect to join their team, to apply their expertise, skills, and professionalism to a number of exciting projects. A few of your responsibilities include creating technical details and drawings using a mixture of Revit and AutoCAD, leading a design team, and running projects.

Senior Architect Position Remuneration

  • Competitive salary £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

Senior Architect Position Overview

  • Producing technical design drawings for RIBA Work Stage 2 to 6 on both new build and refurbishment residential schemes
  • Production of 3D Revit models for use from concept design to construction issue information
  • Running numerous jobs simultaneously, producing working drawings/specifications and checking/amending similar work drafted by others
  • Production of planning, building control and construction issue drawings
  • Attending client meetings
  • Attending site and liaising with contractors, providing technical advice when required

Senior Architect Position Requirements

  • Residential/Housing experience
  • Experience of high-rise/refurbishments would be desirable
  • Experience with Design & Build Contracts
  • Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge and experience in Revit desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience in a Design Office
  • Experience in Building and Planning regulations/procedures
  • Good interpersonal, communication and written articulation skills
  • A team leader with the determination to drive projects forward
  • Personal presence and well-developed leadership skills to support and assist more junior members of the team
