Role Overview:
As an Asset Manager, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the social housing assets, ensuring they are fit for purpose and meet regulatory standards. This position involves developing strategic plans for property maintenance, refurbishments, and upgrades while balancing financial constraints. You will be working closely with the operations, finance, and development teams to ensure the efficient use of resources and the long-term value of housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to maintain and improve housing stock.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and assessments to determine maintenance, refurbishment, or replacement needs.
  • Plan and oversee large-scale improvement programs, including repairs, upgrades, and energy efficiency projects.
  • Manage budgets and financial plans for asset management, ensuring cost-effective decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant housing standards, regulations, and sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality service to residents.
  • Report on asset performance, risks, and opportunities to senior management and the board.
  • Lead on data collection and analysis for asset tracking and future planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in asset management within the social housing sector.
