Our client a growing organisation based in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Partnership Manager to join this education

Main purpose of the job

To support the Brand Marketing & Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop and manage current commercial partnership initiatives, manage sponsor and exhibitors at conferences, awards and events, and identify new income opportunities to support the planned growth of the organisation.  The post holder will liaise with colleagues across the organisation to deliver effective new business activity and manage existing relationships.

Main duties

  • Support the account management of current partners and seek, negotiate and develop new partnerships and commercial agreements that benefit the organisation’s ongoing business development and membership growth targets
  • Work with your line manager to source and engage new partnerships whose business aims meet the needs of members and are consistent with the companies policy
  • Develop and sell commercial opportunities, including conference and awards sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, across a broad range of activities, to new and existing partners
  • Support with admin responsibilities of tender processes and general corporate partnerships activity
  • Manage in-bound commercial enquiries and support in developing a new business pipeline
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing & Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop new, innovative campaigns and partnership ideas.  Write and deliver bespoke proposals and project plans to aid the achievement of sales, membership and marketing objectives
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing & Corporate Partnerships Manager to manage partner and advertiser marketing plans, incorporating conference and awards marketing planning
  • With the support of the Brand Marketing & Corporate Partnerships Manager, manage and monitor performance against budget and targets, evaluate and report on delivery against objectives
  • Represent the company at external events and meetings as appropriate, proactively seeking out and engaging in networking opportunities 
  • Conduct monthly reviews for corporate partners, highlighting upcoming activity and further marketing opportunities
  • Conduct sponsor and exhibitor risk assessments for Conferences, Awards and member events
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested.
