Ongoing Long-Term Contract
My client is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join an ongoing contract for a major rail project based west of Leeds.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a high-profile project, contributing to the successful delivery of key infrastructure within the rail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out of works in line with project specifications
- Creating and implementing method statements and work package plans
- Interpreting and executing design requirements
- Producing task briefs and work package plans for teams
- Ensuring quality control in accordance with project specifications
- Conducting services checks (CAT and Genny)
- Compiling accurate as-built documentation
- Ordering materials and tracking delivery progress
- Managing permit clearances and approvals
- Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety regulations on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar engineering role within rail
- Strong understanding of design interpretation and execution
- Familiarity with setting out works and producing method statements
- Experience in managing materials, permits, and tracking project progress
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations within a rail environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
