Project Building Surveyor Based in Huddersfield Full APC support
1st Select Ltd is partnering with a national multidisciplinary consultancy based in Huddersfield and we are looking to recruit aProject Building Surveyor. We are seeking an individual capable of managing minor works projects from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception through to completion, focusing on housing and non-housing stock.
- Provide technical and advisory support to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Prepare specifications, drawings, and conduct risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment, and new construction projects.
- Prepare tender documents, manage contracts, and oversee project management, ensuring compliance and quality control.
- Conduct site surveys, including condition surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidations, measured surveys, and planned maintenance assessments. Carry out defect analysis and prepare technical reports.
- Participate in conservation projects, including investigations into materials, repair processes, quality control, and innovative repair methods.
