About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading a specialist care home, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for all residents. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and lead a multidisciplinary team, including Unit Managers, Registered Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants. Your responsibilities will include managing clinical governance, adhering to CQC standards, and supporting the professional development of your team. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with training, and overseeing clinical documentation and audit processes. Occasionally, you will provide direct care, ensuring your skills remain current and hands-on.

About You

To thrive in this role, you must have a valid NMC PIN and a thorough understanding of nursing care best practices. You should demonstrate strong leadership skills, be up-to-date with evidence-based clinical practices, and have experience working with individuals with complex needs. Key skills include effective communication, team management, and the ability to work under pressure.

Experience in care planning, managing challenging behaviours, and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards is essential.
