Project Manager Huddersfield£32,500 - £37,500 + Car

Our client is an established and growing business with a global presence and impressive list of clients. They are looking to recruit an ambitious and organised Project Manager to join the team and manage multiple, ongoing projects for different clients. You will work typical office hours 8:30am - 5pm, based onsite 5 days a week at Huddersfield. The role will include travel to sites across the UK, and quarterly account reviews so a flexible approach to location is needed, as is a full UK driving license.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and work directly with clients to plan, execute and deliver client solutions on time
  • Create detailed project plans outlining project objectives and deadlines
  • Co-ordinate with third parties and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Participate in regular meetings with clients, providing insightful updates on project progress, any issues and steps to resolve
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts and client quotes. Ensure projects align with budgets and arrange timely billing
  • Proactively identify, communicate and resolve any potential issues that may impact project delivery
  • Co-ordinate different stakeholders, internal and external
  • Travel to project locations in person to review progress, and attend meetings with clients at their HQ to build relationships

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven record managing multiple ongoing projects
  • Previous experience working with, and co-ordinating Engineers, Installers etc would be highly advantageous. Industries such as Utilities, Telecoms, Transport would be of interest
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Must be confident dealing with clients, both in person and via Teams/ phone
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Full UK driving license
