An award-winning traditional high street Yorkshire firm has an opening for a Residential Conveyancer to join their Huddersfield office and handle a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish.
The Role
You will be running a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sale and purchase of both freehold and leasehold properties, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build and buy to let. You will have a paralegal to support you with the more administrative aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your own caseload of conveyancing transactions from start to finish
- Build long lasting relationships with your client base
- Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts of sale and transfer deeds.
- Communicate with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and financial institutions involved in the transaction.
About You
- Qualified Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, and the firm will consider applications from non-qualified candidates who have long standing conveyancing experience.
- Experienced with running a full conveyancing caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision
- A focus on client care and excellent client communication skills
