Huddersfield schools seek Education/Childhood Studies students and trainee teachers for summer term work as teaching assistants.
We are looking for uni students with an interest in working in education or childcare for daily supply cover and short term (for May - July) roles as teaching assistants.
We can offer:
- experience in a variety of schools
- experience in different year groups to your placement
- work for the summer term now you are finished uni for the academic year
- experienced teachers on the team who can offer support and advice
- work for the next academic year(s) around your studies
- support finding a role in education after studying
- free training courses/ CPD
Working with Academics as a teaching assistant you will have the opportunity to work in different schools so that you can get a feel for the kind of ones you want to work in when you finish your courses, or just to work around your studies in a field you are interested in.
You can also stay registered with us for work as long as you want - so around your studies come the new term in September or for when you have finished studying and are looking for more full time/ permanent work.
