Our client is a leading FMCG company committed to producing food and drinks with a blend of tradition and innovation. We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the efficiency, safety, and productivity of the manufacturing operations.

Job Description:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and improvement of electrical systems within our wine production facilities. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the equipment, enhancing automation processes, and implementing safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment within the production facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all electrical components and machinery.
  • Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to improve automation processes and optimize energy efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage and oversee electrical projects, from planning through to completion.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical installations and repairs.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members on electrical systems and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field or apprenticeship programme.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and control systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming, VFDs, and other industrial control equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
