Our client, an electronics design and manufacturing company, seek to appoint an Electronic Design Engineer to design and continuously improve products through the entire product lifecycle. We're looking for someone with a varied skillset covering PCB design and layout, circuit design, and coding in C and variants of C on Microcontrollers. Electronic Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Design / Hardware / PCB / Electronics / Embedded Software / Firmware / Microcontrollers* Participate in feasibility analysis, project scoping, resource planning and cost estimating providing realistic task durations for schedule/milestone planning* Specify, design, implement, debug and validate electronic solutions* Assist in investigation, selection and evaluation of new components and techniques* Participate constructively in board level digital hardware design reviews with peers* Assist with integration, validation, evaluation and transition to manufacturing of products. Plan and execute field tests to assess functionality, performance and interoperability* Generate high quality design documents, validation plans and application guides* Write basic code in C and variants of C for MicrocontrollersElectronic Design Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Design / Hardware / PCB / Electronics / Embedded Software / Firmware / Microcontrollers* Degree or HNC/HND in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent* Experience of PCB design and layout* Knowledge of circuit design* Appreciation of embedded microprocessor systems and able to code in C and variants of CElectronics, Design Engineer, Design / Hardware / PCB / Electronics / Embedded Software / Firmware / MicrocontrollersIf this role could appeal please do apply now!
