Solar Electrician required for our client, a leading renewable energy company with over 14 years' experience within the industry, committed to delivering high-quality solar power solutions to commercial and industrial clients across the UK.
The ideal candidate will be local to Huddersfield and will be happy with travel when required. Some of the projects include supermarkets, fast food restaurants, petrol stations, council buildings, colleges and the hospitality sector.
Solar Electrician Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
- Monday - Friday - (9am - 5pm)
- 20 days + 8BH
- Company Van + Fuel Card

Solar Electrician Job Overview
In this role you will be conducting maintenance on a variety of electrical installations across multiple solar installations providing thorough reports to ensure operations continue smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have experience in solar maintenance on a commercial or industrial scale with a broad range of knowledge across electrical systems such as cables, inverters, connectors, monitoring and communications.
- Daily inspection and reporting on operations across solar installs sites.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
- Routine maintenance on electrical installations.
- Attending sites with faults and system failures
- Fault finding on electrical components and rectifying
- Remedial works
- Inspection and testing
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Install new electrical components and wiring
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure functionality
Solar Electrician Job Requirements
- Experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Solar equipment.
- Level 3 electrical qualification, 18th edition and 2391. (Required)
- Clean UK driving licence.
- Commutable distance to Huddersfield
- Experience in either commercial or industrial settings
