Senior Architectural Technician Huddersfield£45,000 - £50,000 + Flexible/Hybrid Working + BenefitsExcellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician with a residential or housing background to join a reputable construction consultancy in a role with fantastic progression and upskilling opportunities.On offer is the chance to take a Senior role with further career progression available within a close knit team of architectural professionals of varying experience from graduates to team leader working across diverse residential projects from multi-unit new build to high rise recladding and refurbishment works.This company are a Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy who provide unique consultancy based services working with a large number of councils. They run projects within social housing, residential and high rise sectors. They have continued to grow over the last few years so are now looking for a Senior Architectural Technician to join their innovative and forward thinking design team.In this role you will be based in the office in Huddersfield, working a varied work load within the social housing sector. Projects vary in size and scale including residential, cladding, retrofit and refurbishment projects. Projects will range from single housing schemes to large scale housing developments. Working closely with the team, you will cover RIBA stages 2-6 producing technical drawings using AutoCAD and producing planning, construction issue and building control drawings. You will also be responsible for attending client meetings and on site meetings to liaise with contractors and provide specialist advice. As a Senior you will also naturally be advising and assisting with less experienced members of the team across all technical aspects.The ideal candidate will therefore be an Architectural Technician with residential/housing and AutoCAD experience who has worked across RIBA stages. You will need to be a team player whilst also having the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at one time.
