Senior Administrator

Location: Huddersfield West Yorkshire

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Salary: 28,000 - 30,000 Per Annum

We are working with a well-established company based in Huddersfield, recognised for its expertise. With years of industry experience, our client provides a comprehensive range of services, from repairs to full system installations.

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Manager/Administrator to join our client's busy team. This role is key to keeping operations running smoothly, ensuring compliance, and supporting a busy technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to both the office and engineering teams
  • Maintain up-to-date records for training, compliance, certifications, and documentation
  • Oversee company vehicle records, tools, mobile phones, and PPE inventories
  • Manage subcontractor documentation and respond to external audit requests
  • Coordinate material and equipment orders, plant hire, and creation of RAMS/O&M documentation
  • Update the company website and social media platforms on a weekly basis
  • Process engineer timesheets and support general office documentation

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role - ideally in a technical, engineering, or M&E environment
  • Background in construction or a related trade is a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident with IT systems (Microsoft Office, website and social media platforms)
  • Capable of juggling multiple systems and deadlines with ease
  • Proactive communicator with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Knowledge of health & safety compliance and fleet management would be an advantage
