Role Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services
- Preparing and reviewing audit plans, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Overseeing the audit process, delivering management reports and recommendations to clients
- Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to provide added value
- Delegating workflow, reviewing work, and providing mentorship and training to junior members of the team
- Briefing staff on ongoing business, conducting appraisals, and supporting staff development
- Reporting to key stakeholders on audit findings and business insights
- Assisting with new client tenders to support the firm’s growth

The ideal candidate will:
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified with strong audit experience in practice
- Have experience managing a portfolio of clients and delivering audits to a high standard
- Demonstrate leadership skills, with experience mentoring and training junior staff
- Have excellent technical knowledge of audit and assurance standards
- Be a proactive and confident communicator, able to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Possess strong organisational skills, ensuring audits are completed on time and within budget
