The Role -

The Client Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that high-quality service is delivered while identifying opportunities for business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Meeting with clients onsite and guiding and advising them with the support of the team
  • Overseeing the preparation of accounts and tax computations, ensuring compliance with deadlines
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members, helping to develop their skills and maintain high professional standards
  • Providing financial and business advisory services, including tax planning and strategic support
  • Liaising with HMRC and other external entities as needed
  • Reviewing client debtor balances and ensuring all client data is accurate
  • Addressing client queries and directing them to the appropriate department when needed

What We’re Looking For -

  • Qualified (AAT, ACCA, ACA) or QBE with solid experience in an accountancy practice
  • A proven track record in client management and business advisory
  • Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and the potential to be able to motivate and mentor individuals, you don’t need previous experience of this
