Axon Moore are supporting a large international business based in West Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Group Finance Manager.The successful candidate will be positioned in a highly visible role across the Group and will support the Group Finance Director in driving the performance of the business. The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:
  • Delivery and execution of all group financial and management reporting on a monthly basis
  • Business partnering and acting as the main Head Office contact for a range of finance and non-finance stakeholders across the Group which consists of multiple subsidiaries
  • Analysing key variances in relation to business performance and improvement area
  • Managing a team of 2 direct reports
  • Production of the Group’s annual budget process, including presentation to the wider Group finance team
  • Preparation of year-end Group statutory accounts and other Head Office holding companies, in accordance with IFRS
  • Lead all aspects of accounting Head Office holding companies, including monthly reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:
  • Qualified Finance Leader, (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong technical accounting experience, ideally within a Group or Head Office function
  • Managerial experience of leading and developing other finance staff
  • Strong business partnering experience, with a track record of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
