The Role Purpose:
  • The Broker Relationship Manager will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining long-term, successful and sustainable relationships with their panel of insurance brokers.
  • The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the broker and its network, utilizing a broad spectrum of tools, such as management information, innovative products, insurer facilities, and marketing support to deliver exceptional value and service to their brokers.

Key Responsibilities:
Broker Partner Relationships:
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with broker partners in alignment with the broader team.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to broker partners, supporting their growth and business success.

Service Delivery:
  • Ensure seamless support for broker partners, delivering a consistently high-quality experience.
  • Collaborate with the broking team to manage and resolve service-related issues efficiently.

Business Engagement:
  • Work closely with senior leadership, the broking team, and other departments to align strategies and objectives.
  • Leverage available tools and resources to enhance broker partner engagement and drive mutual success.

Financial Support:
  • Assist the accounts team in credit control processes to ensure timely and effective financial management.

Brand Representation:
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation, promoting and upholding professional standards.
  • Attend industry events to build and expand networks within the insurance industry, strengthening the companys presence and influence.

Measures of Success:
  • Development and strengthening of relationships with existing broker partners.
  • Effective engagement and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Contributions to the enhancement of the organizations proposition for broker partners.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Proven experience in relationship management, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Ability to analyse and utilize management information effectively.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle service issues and manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Familiarity with industry networks and events is a plus.
