The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for responding to inquiries and preparing quotations, primarily for electromechanical equipment such as electric motors, gearboxes and pumps, and automation spare parts such as inverters used in industrial & marine applications. The role also includes specifying retrofit solutions when original components are no longer available.
This role is office based, with occasional site visits.
Responsibilities
* Responding promptly to enquiries and dealing with suppliers
* Producing quotations
* Work closely and building relationships with customers & suppliers
* Provide technical support when needed
Experience required
* Several years working within an engineering environment
Skills and attributes required
* Electro-mechanical knowledge
* Interpersonal skills
* Highly motivated & enthusiastic
* Work well under pressure
