Our client is a leader in their field and due to rapid growth now need an experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor to join their growing team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Duties

  • All retail parts sales, enquiry through to invoice and ensure all payments are received in a timely manner
  • Full management of all parts requirements.
  • Supplier Liaison
  • Ordering parts for both sites (20 bays), including all stock parts and any bespoke part requirements
  • Coordinating the removal of waste on site.
  • Ensuring competitive supplier cost by bench marking and volume of purchase.
  • System Management
  • Inputting all supplier invoices on system, including works orders
  • Management of the invoicing email inbox, forwarding emails to relevant departments where required.
  • Booking all parts to corresponding jobs in Parts manager absence
  • Ensuring all parts costs and nominal codes are correct

Adhoc Duties

  • Assisting works manager, operation manager and operations assistant to ensure builds are completed on time
  • Assisting Health and Safety Officer with tasks – such as ladder checks, works van log, ordering first aid and ensuring all unsafe equipment is removed from service and replaced quickly and efficiently
  • Vehicle inspection of new vehicles onsite, signing off any damages where required.
  • Driving work (Van)
  • Adhoc Administration

Skills and Experience

  • Full clean driving license
