Job Title: SEMH English Teacher

Location: Huddersfield

School type: Social, Emotional, Mental, Health (SEMH) School

Pay: £180-230/day

Working Hours: 08:00 - 15:30

Engage Education are pleased to be hiring for an SEMH Teacher for a position in one of our SEMH schools in Huddersfield.

Are you a qualified Teacher looking to progress your teaching career by supporting the emotional and mental wellbeing of children out of mainstream education? Are you a strong-willed and confident Teacher who has a record of 'Good’ or better classroom practice and an understanding of the value of high expectations looking to use their nurturing abilities in an SEMH environment?

We are working with a supportive and welcoming school in Huddersfield who are seeking an SEMH Teacher to start ASAP.

About the role

You will be enrolled onto a fantastic induction programme and benefit from the dynamic leadership of the SLT who are known for driving the school’s expectations and developments and giving you excellent career development.

This school has a super supportive team staffed by an innovative and experienced individuals. They have a shared ethos within the school that has enabled them to achieve excellent progress in children’s SEMH. They are continually striving to improve, and endeavour to ensure that every student is provided with an outstanding learning environment that allows them to achieve their best in life.

This is a full-time, long-term role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to joining a school with a clear vision and strong ethos.

About you

  • A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification
  • Happy to teach a variety of subjects to Key Stage 3 and 4 to a range of abilities
  • A passion for your subject and education in general
  • A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
