Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Registered Manager for a permanent role working within a 24-bed residential setting in West Yorkshire.

Rate Of Pay: Up to £40k per annum

Our home is in a residential area, a short distance from the centre of Huddersfield accommodating up to 24 people, either on a long-term basis or for a short respite.

A variety of activities take place, including baking, karaoke nights, singers, painting, movie nights, armchair exercises, and animal interactions.

The home is situated near to supermarket, cafes, a library and a direct bus route, we have excellent relationships with the local church, a number of schools, and a taxi company who will provide wheelchair accessible taxis when requested.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Registered Manager:

  • Degree or similar level qualification. (e.g. NVQ 4/5 Healthcare Management, RMA Award)
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager and significant experience of operational and organisational management in a mental health environment.
  • Experience of supervisions, appraisals, managing a budget, knowledge of rostering programmes.
  • Experience of leading a service to full compliance; experience of CQC inspection processes.
  • Highly motivated to ensure a high-quality efficient and safe service.
