Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Network Engineer based in Huddersfield (Potentially a hybrid role)

The successful candidate must

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working as a Network Engineer
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues with LAN/WAN
  • Have knowledge and experience of ARUBA/Cisco IOS
  • Used management tools such as PRTG
  • Possess a good understanding of the IP Addressing, DNS/DHCP and general TCP/IP protocol suite
  • Be experienced in configuring and troubleshooting Firewalls inclusive of ACLs, NAT and PAT, IPSEC and SSL VPNs
  • Have an understanding of network security issues and their importance within the context of a healthcare environment
  • Be able to work within a Microsoft environment. (Windows Server 2016 and newer)
  • Follow ITIL Service Delivery and support processes
  • Handle Backup and Restores (Snapshots / Full System)
  • Have knowledge of FortiNet Equipment
  • *CCNA Certification is required*
