Mechanical Fitter

Elevation Recruitment is excited to represent a leading high-speed printing engineering manufacturer in recruiting a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Huddersfield.

Position Details:

• Salary: £33,000 - £37,500
• Location: Huddersfield
• Shifts: Monday - Friday, Days

Role Responsibilities:

• Fitting and installing mechanical systems and products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
• Working with a range of in-house designed chambers used in the printing industry.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and protocols.
• Collaborating with managers and other engineers on projects and problem-solving.
• Handling various materials such as carbon fibre, stainless steel, acetal, and systems like hydraulics and pneumatics.

Experience Required:

• Previous experience in mechanical fitting and engineering.
• Ability to work flexibly and efficiently.
• Proficiency in diagnosing errors or technical problems and initiating best practice solutions.
• Strong command of using tools and applications.
