Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business in the Huddersfield area to recruit a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Fitter to join their existing team.

Salary: £33,000 - £37,500

Overtime: Paid at Time & Half

Working Hours: Days

Job Role:

  • Fitting, installing mechanical systems and products that meet customer requirements and specifications
  • Working on a range of in house components
  • Working with a variety of materials such as carbon fibre, stainless steel, acetal
  • Working with hydraulics and pneumatics systems
  • Collaborating with managers, and other engineers on projects and problem-solving
  • Following health and safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in mechanical fitting and engineering
  • Ability to work flexibly and efficiently
  • Ability to diagnose errors or technical problems quickly to determine and initiate best practice solutions
  • Great command of using tools and applications
