Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business in the Huddersfield area to recruit a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Fitter to join their existing team.

Salary: £33,000 - £37,500

Overtime: Paid at Time & Half

Job Role:

Fitting, installing mechanical systems and products that meet customer requirements and specifications
Working on a range of in house components
Working with a variety of materials such as carbon fibre, stainless steel, acetal
Working with hydraulics and pneumatics systems
Collaborating with managers, and other engineers on projects and problem-solving
Following health and safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:

Previous experience in mechanical fitting and engineering
Ability to work flexibly and efficiently
Ability to diagnose errors or technical problems quickly to determine and initiate best practice solutions
Great command of using tools and applications
