A leading claims management company based in Huddersfield is seeking a Senior RTA Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional with a strong background in multi-track Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases to handle a varied caseload in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.This is an ideal opportunity for a serious injury solicitor, or someone with strong multi-track experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of multi-track and fast-track RTA claims from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and correspond with clients, third parties, and insurers to progress cases efficiently.
  • Prepare cases for litigation and ensure full compliance with Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
  • Negotiate settlements with third parties while ensuring clients receive the best possible outcome.
  • Attend court hearings where necessary and manage all aspects of case preparation, including instructing counsel.
  • Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients, maintaining high standards of client care throughout the process.
  • Ensure cases are handled efficiently, meeting performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Keep up to date with relevant case law, regulations, and industry developments to provide accurate and effective legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Experience in handling multi-track RTA cases.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of RTA litigation processes, including experience in both multi-track and fast-track claims.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, ensuring attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
