This role is for a diligent Quality Engineer in the industrial and manufacturing sector, eager to contribute to an engineering and manufacturing team in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our products.

Description

  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues related to product quality.
  • Implement and manage quality control metrics.
  • Participate in audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Provide training and support to the quality control team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Report on quality control activities to management.

Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in quality core tools & methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, knowledge of route cause methods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
