Description
- Implementing and maintaining machinery in the production department.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on FMCG machinery.
- Identifying and rectifying mechanical faults in the production line.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to enhance production efficiency.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Participating in the training and development of junior engineering staff.
- Providing technical support to the manufacturing team as required.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- NVQ level 3 in Engineering and a time served apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing machinery.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
