PERMANENT DAYS 8am TO 5pm - early finish Friday..
Our client is a large manufacturer based between Huddersfield and Brighouse, with an enviable reputation of success and employee engagement, as will be seen from the benefits they offer. They now have, through retirement, an immediate requirement for a mechanical maintenance engineer.
The Role
You will become part of an existing maintenance and facilities team of 10, you will help provide maintenance support across other manufacturing departments, ensure PPM is up to date and actions carried out in a safe and timely manner. Amongst other tasks, you will.....
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure PPM is carried out on time.
- Reactive maintenance are carried as quickly as possible.
- Maintain compliance inspections
- Support the EHS team
What you will already have....
- Technical knowledge of pumps, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics
- You must be able to MIG weld, TIG would be nice as well
- Be able to work with a computerised maintenance system
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Have good understanding of general engineering
- H&S procedures
- And of course, be a team player, have a positive attitude and work under pressure.
This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 1:45pm on a Friday, so an early finish.
