Estimator required for a leading precision engineering company offering 60 years of excellence and state-of-the-art equipment to supply a wide range of industries.
This opportunity is based in Huddersfield, meaning that the successful Estimator will be able to easily commute from surrounding towns and cities including; Dewsbury, Mirfield, Halifax, Bradford, Wakefield and Barnsley.
Key Responsibilities of the Estimator will include;
- Managing, maintaining and developing the company's existing relationships
- Identifying potential new clients and business opportunities
- Respond to requests from clients with detailed quotations
- Work collaboratively with other departments including production to ensure clients needs can be met
- Maintain a good understanding of clients and their business strategies
- Act as the first point of contact for clients
For the role of Estimator, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who have;
- Experience as an Estimator or similar within a precision engineering environment
- A good understanding of quotation for technical engineering components
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings
- Experience developing client accounts and providing top quality customer service
Salary & Benefits;
- 35,000 to 40,000 (Depending on experience)
- Mon - Thur 7.30am - 4.00pm
- Fri 7.30am - 12.30am
- 8% Combined pension
