Contracts Manager will oversee national HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contracts is required for our client, a Mechanical and Eletrical specialist, based in Manchester. The role will have a focus on managing and developing existing contracts while securing new remedial work. You will be responsible for ensuring service excellence, maintaining client relationships, and driving growth through tenders and new business opportunities.

Contracts Manager Position Overview
  • Oversee and manage national HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contracts.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met, while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and grow existing contracts through performance improvement and relationship management.
  • Identify and tender for new remedial contracts to expand business portfolio.
  • Monitor contract performance, financials, and KPIs, ensuring profitability and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance
  • Regularly liaise with clients, addressing any issues or concerns to maintain strong relationships
  • Provide accurate reports on contract performance, progress, and financials
  • Ensure contracts adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations
Contracts Manager Position Requirements
  • Proven experience in HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contract management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets, tenders, and bids
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or HVAC engineering (desirable)
  • Live within commutable distance to Manchester office.
Contracts Manager Position Remuneration
  • Salary £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience
  • Bonus scheme uncapped based on performance
  • Car Allowance £6,000
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Working hours 8am - 5pm - office and sites based
