About the Role:

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for 3D mechanical design? We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on product design and development while working on exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret customer requirements for machinery and modifications, translating them into 3D designs using CAD modeling software, ideally on the Autodesk platform, while addressing bespoke needs.Create detailed component and assembly drawings with a focus on manufacturability, collaborating with the Production Team as needed.Release Bills of Materials (BoMs) through the MRP system, working closely with the Procurement Department to ensure timely delivery of all components.Provide design support to the Sales Department.Assist in driving product development and exploring market diversification opportunities.Ensure compliance with BS standards and contribute to the production of risk assessments.

What We're Looking For:

A strong mechanical engineering background, with a minimum of five years' relevant industrial experience (excluding university experience).Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, with experience on the Autodesk platform preferred.Degree or HNC qualification in a related field.A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Friday: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
