Service Engineer

Service engineer required for a leading provider of industrial filtration solutions, specializing in high-performance filter presses for a wide range of industries based in Huddersfield. With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a dedicated Service Engineer to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our advanced filtration systems, ensuring optimal performance for our clients. If you have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering and enjoy hands-on technical work in a 50/50 split between workshop and mobile. This position is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to further their career and move into a more senior role.

Service Engineer Job Overview

• Set up and configure centrifugal equipment at client sites, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Provide on-site and remote support to customers, diagnosing issues and recommending solutions.
• Assist in training operators and maintenance teams, while maintaining detailed service records.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide proactive maintenance strategies.
• Refurbishment, servicing and upgrading centrifuge devices and controls as well as installation of automatic controls

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Commutable distance of Huddersfield.
• Strong diagnostic and technical skills.
• Previous experience working on centrifuge / large rotating equipment.

• 36,000-40,000 dependant on experience.
• Monday - Thursday 7:30-4 with an early finish of 2 on a Friday.
• Company vehicle.
• 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
