Trainee Electronic Assembler

Salary - Starting at 11.44- Bonus opportunity for performance based targets
Hours - 8:30am - 4:30pm

If you have any experience in electronic manufacture or testing, or simply know a thing or two about the differences between resistors, capacitors and transistors this would be a great time to get into a great business that can provide you the tools to be successful in a rapidly growing industry.

Key duties of the Trainee Electronic Assembler will include:

  • Assembly of electronic components
  • Hand-soldering electronic components
  • Utilising various hand tools to adjust and attach electronic components such as drills, screwdrivers etc..
  • Interpret materials provided, such as PCB diagrams
  • Inspection of components and identifying defective products
  • Performing quality assurance tests on products and components
  • Checking connections and measuring electrical resistance

Key Skills and Experience of the Trainee Electronic Assembler:

  • Motivated and results driven
  • Excellent dexterity and the ability to work on precision assemblies
  • Experience working within an electronic environment or with electronic components
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and high levels of accuracy

Desirable attributes of a Trainee Electronic Assembler:

  • Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering
  • Experience in an Engineering environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines
