Executive PA

  • Job Type: Temporary Contract, Full-time, 37 hours per week (Hybrid working)

We are seeking an Executive PA to provide comprehensive executive support to the Chief Executive and the Council’s executive leadership team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in administrative and executive support within a large organisation, who is adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide administrative and executive support services including diary and email management.
  • Prepare for meetings, including agenda planning, accurate minute-taking or recording of decisions, and organising meetings.
  • Respond to correspondence as directed, using information gathered from appropriate sources.
  • Screen visitors and incoming calls, redirecting as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the delivery and improvement of the service by promoting quality and customer standards within the secretarial support function.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Take a proactive approach to workload and time management to ensure work is planned to meet targets, standards, and deadlines.
  • Work proactively as a member of a team to achieve team and service objectives, offering support to colleagues as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience providing administrative and executive support in a large organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent minute-taking and meeting organisation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive approach to workload and time management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
