Payroll Assistant

Location Base: Huddersfield

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end payroll and benefits process across 12 payrolls (a mix of weekly and monthly) and 5 pension schemes, across different employing entities.
  • Ensure all people data is accurately maintained.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy meets company standards and colleague expectations, with a rigorous focus on query and error management, resolution, and communication to colleagues.

Requirements: Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of Payroll systems and expertise in associated software such as Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Respect for confidentiality and discretion to manage sensitive information in a professional manner.
