Experienced Key Stage One (KS1) Primary Teacher (Part-Time 3 DAYS PER WEEK)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher to work in a thriving and welcoming school located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. This part-time role, 3 days per week is ideal for a teacher with expertise in Key Stage 1 who is looking to make a positive impact on students' learning in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The role is to start in January 2025, and will be three days per week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday on a supply basis with the potential for an ongoing opportunity. Role Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS1
  • Be familiar with any phonics programs and be able to delivery phonics to the class.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring all pupils are reaching their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver an engaging curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Maintain communication with parents and carers, fostering strong home-school partnerships.

Requirements:

  • You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent to apply for this role.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods for primary education.
  • Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate pupils.
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work 3 days per week from January 2025.
